YPIowa’s Leader's Academy is all about you! Really!

In general, we all wrestle with the same questions. How do we keep people engage and involved? How do we reach new members? How do we bring people back to our communities and to the state? What are the coolest events other groups have done? What are the trends for the future of our state? The Leader's Academy is a forum for leaders. It is a day-long agenda devoted completely to what you need to be successful in your community - to recharge, to get new ideas and to talk with others going through what you are experiencing in your community. You WILL walk away with new contacts, new ideas and new resources to use in your organization!

Cost: $100

Network with YP's and business leaders from across the state. The YPIowa Conference will join the Iowa Association of Business and Industry's Annual Conference in the morning. Jim Collins, Author of Good to Great and Great By Choice will be the keynote speaker. Lunch and the afternoon sessions will provide a more intimate conference setting focusing specifically on young professionals.

As Young Professionals in Iowa, it as our responsibility to stand up now and affect positive change within the state of Iowa. We must convey a positive message about our state to a regional and national audience. Those of us that are not part of the “Brain Drain” are active, engaged, and sincerely care about our futures in this state. Without our direct involvement, Iowa most likely, will not become the state where we can best grow our personal and professional lives.
