Advocate Committee

The YPIowa Advocate Committee was formed to focus on issues of importance to young professionals. Young professionals in Iowa are active, engaged and sincerely care about the future of this state. YPIowa recognizes that our demographic cares about the community we live in and wants to be involved, and is working to bridge the gap between politics and young professionals.

YP Day at the Capitol is an initiative developed in 2007 to unite young professionals across Iowa and assist with access to legislators. The annual event provides the opportunity for participants to connect with legislators, be informed on what is happening at the Capitol, network with other young professionals from across the state and showcase their organization/community.
