We host events targeting a wide range of interests including leadership, career advancement, community involvement, professional and personal development, networking and volunteerism.

The Bull Moose Club is an organization of committed Republicans under the age of forty (40) whose purpose is to promote understanding of Republican politics, its principles, and historical traditions. The Club will foster interaction by providing a forum for individual interests and initiatives. The Club strives to further Republican leadership in Iowa.
Annually, the Clive Jaycees participate in or coordinate many community activities and events including Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon, JDRF Walk for a Cure, Hospice of Central Iowa C.A.R.E. Walk along with many other charity walks/runs, delivering food to the homeless, youth sports competitions and many more.
We are a volunteer community service organization for young people in the Des Moines area. Through serving our community, the Des Moines Jaycees gain leadership experience, meet new people, make business contacts and have fun together!

Leadership Pursuit is an ongoing professional development program focusing on specific leadership skills needed to succeed in today's working environment. Membership is open to all, but content will target entry-level to middle-management positions. The content of each meeting will be delivered by leadership consultants and area leaders and focus on the leadership topic for that particular meeting.

The Twenty-First Century Forum is an organization of committed young professional Democrats whose purpose is to provide a forum to discuss and debate political, social, economic and business related topics. By encouraging individual interest and initiatives, the Forum is dedicated to cultivating and developing leadership within the Democratic Party and the State of Iowa. The Forum strives to be inclusive and seeks members regardless of race, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
The Urbandale Jaycees, based in Urbandale, Iowa, serve the greater Des Moines area and surrounding communities. We offer activities in the areas of business development, management, leadership and personal training, and community service. In addition to interaction with fellow Urbandale Jaycees, members are able to network with other Jaycee chapters, the Chamber of Commerce, and government leaders.

The Cedar Rapids chapter of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) is a community-based leadership training organization for men and women age 21-40. Through serving the Cedar Rapids area in a variety of projects and programs, young people have the opportunity to develop their leadership and business skills.
As well as being known for donating generously to worthy charitable organizations either directly or through the Clinton Jaycees Foundation, the Clinton Jaycees is the single most active community service organization in the Clinton area. Northwest Iowa
The Boone YP group has many opportunities for you to get involved with community service, networking, meeting new face and social events.
The group meets once a month to plan activities and networking events. There are also social activities and outing for everyone to enjoy!
Members range from ages 21 - 40 and work in many different industries.

The High Lakes Young Professionals is an organization in South Central and Southwest Iowa.
Impact CB was formed in 2007 by the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce to provide an opportunity for Council Bluffs' young leaders (ages 21-40) to be active and involved in their community.
Southeast Iowa
Access Mount Pleasant (AMP) is a young professionals organization in Henry County Iowa meant to equip young individuals with social and career networking opportunities and provide a support group for one another. Membership to AMP is free and is open to anyone living or working in Henry County between the ages of 21 and 40. AMP was spearheaded by the Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce and the Southeast Iowa Leadership Institute.

On April 5, 2007, Governor Culver signed HF 617, better known as the "Generation Iowa" bill, into law. The commission was established to advise and assist in the retention and attraction of young adults to Iowa.

With over 2000 members and chapters in 55 local communities, the Iowa Jaycees provide a stable organization for young people to help make a positive and lasting impact. Iowa Outdoor Unlimited (IOU) is a group of like minded people who enjoy spending time in the outdoors. We were founded in 2005 and since then have camped, kayaked, canoed, caved, cross-country skied, downhill skied, climbed and done many other outdoor activities. As our name suggests we want to be unlimited in the types of outdoor activities we try. During our first year we had 26 different events and did our best to educate members on those sports. A focus of our group is to band together to teach each other about the great outdoors and outdoor sports. Everyone 18 and older is welcome to join our group. After all we were founded to help people make connections so you never have to go it alone.

What is the Young Farmer Program?
The Iowa Farm Bureau Young Farmer Program brings together young farmers from across the state of Iowa. The program , for farmers ages 18-35, provides leadership and participation opportunities designed to encourage young members to become active participants in the organization and the agricultural community at all levels – county, state and national.
Committee members conduct activities such as the discussion meet, young farmer leadership conference, ag challenge competition and achievement and excellence in agriculture member award programs. The committee also advises the Iowa Farm Bureau board of directors on farm policy issues that impact young farmers.

The ABI Foundation supports our two flagship programs, Business Horizons and Leadership Iowa. This organization sustains our valuable programming that fosters leadership and promotes Iowa.
The Foundation was founded in 1984 to deliver programs and to conduct research for the benefit of students, educators, leaders and employers that expands their knowledge and enhances their individual responsibility and leadership skills.
Business Horizons (BH) is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on, action-oriented weeklong summer program for high school students who want to learn about the world of business and what the future holds for them. Our mission is to promote the value of the free enterprise system through leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurial activities, and personal development opportunities. BH has enjoyed over 20 successful years of educating young people about economics, the free enterprise system, entrepreneurship, skills they need to be successful in today's workplace, and about opportunities available in the state of Iowa. BH is a program of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation and partners include the Iowa Department of Education, the Iowa Bankers Association, Junior Achievement of Central Iowa, Simpson College and local Chambers of Commerce across Iowa.
Iowa Association of Business and Industry, "The Voice of Iowa Business since 1903" is the largest business network in the state(serving as Iowa's State Chamber) with long legacy of advocating for a competitive business climate in Iowa. Offering its members opportunities to network, learn best practices in Lean Processes, Workforce, Workers' Compensation, Controlling Health Care Costs, Employee Drug Testing Environmental Issues and Leadership ABI works, "To foster a favorable business, economic, governmental and social climate within the State of Iowa so that our citizens have the opportunity to enjoy the highest possible quality of life."
Leadership Iowa is a premier issues-awareness program promoting leadership within the state. We educate, challenge and inspire our participants to bring out their inherent quality to “point the way.” The ultimate goal is to instill passion in our current and emerging leaders while fostering a high level of civic engagement.

The IBF is currently drafting its Mid-Decade Assessment of the Imagine Iowa 2010 Vision Plan and this December the IBF will be hosting its third Bi-Annual Legislative Summit. Both are critical tools in moving Iowa forward with a common vision.
In preparation for these efforts the IBF has selected 30 Iowa communities for the Grow Iowa Tour. In cooperation with our Iowa Growth Partners, the IBF is dispatching teams of experts from around Iowa as well as a video team and photographer to spend time in each Tour community. Their mission is to listen and learn.
We are taking the pulse of Iowa in the streets, businesses, and gathering places where real Iowans live and work. We are seeking honest and open input to identify roadblocks to our growth. We are sharing opportunities and best practices within and between communities.
