Dear Young,
New Year's Resolutions...? How about adding:
- Support and fundraising to improve the lives of children in Central Iowa!
- Sharing your smiles through volunteer activities!
- Partying, bidding and dodging...all for a good cause!
Release your post-holiday stresses...
Saturday, January 23, 8am - 5pm
Where: Des Moines University Wellness Center, 3300 Grand Ave.
Cost: $75/team (teams of 6 - 8 people, must be 18 or older)
Other: Costumes and these encouraged. Friends, family and other (no pets) are encouraged to participate or watch!

Membership Happy Hour!
When: Thursday, January 21, 2010, 5:00 - 7pm
Where: Gateway Market; West Glen
Event Price: FREE(and completely recession-proof!)
Think that happy hour's have become a lost art? Well, here's your chance to sip some amazing brew and vino, meet other YV's, pay your dues and learn about how to make the most of your involvement!
We'll provide the fun, frivolities and a few snacks!
Socialize and Score Big (with auction items)...
Young Variety Soiree
When: Friday, February 5, 7pm
Where: Wakonda Club, 1400 Park Ave, Des Moines
Details: Enjoy a night of food, libations, music and major auction deals! Your ticket gets you in the door with food and beverages provided. Don't miss the largest fundraising event for Young Variety!
Tickets: $30 in advance, $35 at the door
