Brenda Wischmeier
Brenda Wischmeier was born and raised in Burlington, Iowa. After graduating from Western Illinois she moved to Des Moines however she came home to Burlington in July of 2006 when she accepted the Marketing Director position at the Greater Burlington Partnership. Brenda and her husband Kevin live in rural Burlington. They like to indulge themselves with family and friends and live up the endless possibilities that Burlington offers. With the entertainment, trails, parks, lakes, rivers, and rural areas they find themselves fortunate to live in a community with these opportunities and yet know how to take life at a slower pace. During their spare time they enjoy boating, golfing, four wheeling, and remodeling their home.
Brenda feels Burlington gives residents a quality of life that can not be found elsewhere. Burlington offers low cost of living, safe neighborhoods, excellent public schools, and high quality cultural and recreational resources.
