ImpactCR presents All aBoard: Leadership through Committees, Boards & Commissions

ImpactCR has announced the return of “All aBoard: Leadership through Committees, Boards & Commissions” scheduled for Thursday September 16th at the Linn County Non-Profit Resource Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Launched in 2006, the All aBoard workshop provides resources and insight from community professionals on board structure and dynamics for attendees interested in taking their basic volunteer skills to the leadership level. Topics for the 2010 workshop will include fundraising, finance and strategic planning, with keynote speaker Casey Prince, Executive Director of Theatre Cedar Rapids. The evening will also provide time for networking and information on board openings among non-profits in the Corridor.

Registration is now available online at www.impactcr.org. Workshop fee is $10 for members of sponsoring organizations, $5 for students and $20 for the general public.
